Cempaka College had a showcase night on the 15th of May, highlighting the new management members such as the College Principal, Mohd Amin bin Mohd Ismail, fellows, assistant fellows, and the college committee members of Cempaka. The event began at 8 o'clock, with the students beginning to fill up the Dataran Ceria Cempaka while waiting for the VIP guests to arrive. After their arrival, the CREATIST club performed a zapin dance as an opening entertainment.
Shortly after, the principal of Cempaka College gave an inaugural opening speech regarding the importance of the college committee members, and he also encouraged the other students to try out for the next college election. The guests that night were then entertained by the Silat group of Cempaka with a fierce performance, leaving the crowd in awe.
Around 9 o'clock, there was a short symbolic appointment of the assistant fellows of Cempaka College, followed by another performance by the CREATIST club. It was a dance called Rejang Beuh. It is a dance usually performed by the Bidayuhs after the harvesting season as a form of entertainment. The dancers performed gracefully, leaving the attendants mesmerised.
Next, the highlight of the event came, which was introducing each of the college committee members to the students along with their responsibilities. The same was done to the fellow and assistant fellow members of Cempaka, who explained their duties towards the students of Cempaka and the college. This was a precious shared moment between the management team and the residential members of Cempaka, fostering the community's unity.

Before the night drew to a close, the band called Elu-C performed a few live songs that were joined by the people of Cempaka dancing while having a good time with the management team. Everyone went back to their respective dorms after a photography session with bright smiles and nice memories.
