
KOTA SAMARAHAN - 13 Dec: A public Rally Night with the Cempaka Representative council was held at 8:30 p.m. The objective of this programme is to introduce Cempaka residence to the college representatives and to allow the students to get to know them better. This programme was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Faisal Ali bin Anwarali Khan Director of the Student Development Centre, En. Mohd Hafizan bin Hashim as Cempaka’s principal, fellows and Cempaka residence. The event started with an energetic Silat performance by the Silat Club from Cempaka.

Not long after, the audience was presented with a Ngajat dance performance by the traditional dancers of the Creative Revolution Artist (CREATIST) Club. Their eye-catching costume and graceful dancing caught everyone’s attention at once. After the performance ended, the parade for every club, consisting of their respectable executive committee and trusted high council of the club began. There are 10 active clubs in total which were present on that eventful day. It all started with the volunteering club as the opening act. All the clubs were creative with their parade's flow, like bringing props and dancing. Each of the club’s presidents who is a member of the Cempaka representative stepped up and gave a brief description of their club’s responsibilities.
After all the clubs made their appearance to the audience, it was high time for the line of college representatives committee of Cempaka to present themselves in front of everyone. The college president, Parameswari A/P Ramu, gave an inspiring speech on behalf of the college representatives’ committee team. The audience was fascinated by how inspiring and insightful she can be. Soon after, the audience was surprised by the last performance of the event which is the Silambam performance. The Silambam performance was performed by Abimanyu Mooralitharan.
Around 9:30 P.M., the event has come to an end. A short photography session was held with Assistant Professor Dr. Faisal Ali bin Anwarali Khan Director of the Student Development Centre, the college Cempaka Principal, fellows of Cempaka and all the college representatives. Overall, the event went on without a hitch.
