Cempaka College is the eighth residential college in UNIMAS. Its construction completed in November 2006 and officially opened on 1st July 2007.

The early residents of Cempaka College consists of students from July 2007/2008 intake. This college is strategically located in front of the UNIMAS Lake, facing the magnificent UNIMAS Chancellory and very close to UNIMAS Stadium. In addition, Cempaka College is surrounded by UNIMAS Central of Teaching Facilities (CTF), Faculties, and Lakeview Cafe.

This college has a maximum capacity of 1,800 residents. It has 6 building blocks made of 3 blocks for male students, K8A, K9A, K9B, and 3 blocks for female students, K8A, K10A, K10B.

Currently, Cempaka College is led by Mohd Hafizan Hashim as the College Principal— assisted by 13 other administrative staffs. Since then, Cempaka College is looking forward in exploring talents, inspiring creativity and nurturing potentials of the students.
